Arrest History in Fulton County
Fulton County Sheriff, Fulton Police, Hickman Police, and Kentucky State Police can each create an arrest report. The correct records office depends on the location and arresting agency. That is especially important near the Fulton and South Fulton state line, where a short distance can move the record into Tennessee. The sheriff handles county matters from its Hickman office, while each city keeps its own police records.
Transport to the Fulton County Detention Center creates a second record. Jail staff verify identity, inventory property, perform screening, take a photograph and fingerprints when required, enter intake charges, and record custody status. District Court then handles prompt judicial proceedings. These events form an arrest trail, but none by itself proves guilt or supplies the final court outcome.

| Circuit Clerk | Resulting M, F, or CR court case | 270-236-3944 |
Fulton Sheriff Report Versus Booking
The sheriff's report records allegations, the incident setting, investigative steps, arrest basis, officers, and evidence references, subject to lawful redaction. The detention center's booking file instead records intake. Ask each custodian for its own product. A request to the jail will not normally produce a deputy's full narrative, and a sheriff report will not provide the jail's later transfer or release history.
The official Fulton County sheriff page provides the verified office address and telephone route.
Use that office for sheriff-created arrest records, not city police or detention-center files.

How to Look Up Fulton County Arrests
No single Fulton County channel supplies every arrest fact. Start with current custody because a very recent case may not yet have a final Circuit number. Then work back to the arresting agency and forward to the court. Use statewide tools only if their scope fits the situation.
- Confirm the arresting agency, state, approximate date, and location.
- Call the detention center at 270-236-2405 for current custody, release, or transfer information.
- Request the incident or arrest report from the sheriff, city police department, or KSP office that created it.
- Call the Fulton Circuit Clerk at 270-236-3944 for the resulting M, F, or CR case and final order.
- Use KOOL for plausible state corrections status, VINELink for notifications, or a focused Kentucky Open Records request when no direct portal answers the question.
Record dates and numbers from each source. Similar names alone are not a sound match. A very recent booking may still show the officer's intake charge before a prosecutor amends it.
No Verified Fulton Booking Log
The county links a jail website with an embedded Fulton County Regional JailTracker roster, but its client-rendered controls could not be verified well enough to describe field by field. No official daily arrest blotter, anonymous mugshot gallery, or stable county booking search was confirmed. The reliable fallback is the detention-center telephone or lobby route, followed by a request to the creating agency.
The official Fulton County jailer page identifies the detention center, elected jailer, hours, and direct contact details.
That county source should control over directory sites that may list a different street number or stale facility data.
City police press items may feature selected events. They are not full arrest logs. Likewise, absence from a current roster does not prove there was no arrest, since release and transfer can remove a person from local custody.
What a Fulton County Arrest Record Shows
An agency arrest record can include the case number, name and permitted identifiers, date and location, arresting officer and agency, warrant or warrantless basis, alleged offenses, statute codes, evidence references, and a narrative. The booking companion can add an intake number, photograph, fingerprints, demographics, holds, bond, release, and transfer information. Protected victims, juveniles, medical facts, and active investigative details may be withheld or redacted.
| Booking Number | The detention center's identifier for the intake event. |
|---|---|
| Booking Date & Time | When local custody and intake were recorded. |
| Arresting Agency | The sheriff, city police, KSP, or other agency that made the arrest. |
| Charges | Allegations entered at intake, which may change before filing or indictment. |
| Bond | Cash, surety, recognizance, no-bond, or other court-ordered conditions as applicable. |
| Booking Photograph | No Fulton official source promises a public online photo gallery; release remains subject to law and redaction. |
| Release Status | Local release, transfer, continued detention, or another custody event. |
Read the filed court charge and final order before describing the result. A booking label is not a conviction offense.
Use KOOL for Fulton Corrections
Kentucky Offender Online Lookup is useful when a person has entered or is reported through Kentucky corrections, including some state inmates housed in county facilities. It is not a complete list of Fulton County arrests or every person held before trial. Search by name, or use a PID or DOC number for a stronger match, then review current location, status, conviction entries, and published sentence dates.
KOOL warns that data newer than 120 days may not be finalized. A parole-eligibility date does not promise release. Verify a Fulton court outcome with the clerk and current local custody with the detention center. If a person was released or transferred, determine which system took over rather than assuming the record vanished.
The Kentucky DOC Local Facilities page describes biannual county-jail inspection and Kentucky Jail Standards oversight.
Oversight information explains facility standards, while individual arrest and custody records still come from the local and state custodians.
Recent Arrests and Booking Logs
For a recent Fulton County arrest, call the detention center first. Ask whether the person is currently held, released, or transferred and which booking identifier can be disclosed. The facility can also confirm the current method for bond questions. Bond can be cash, surety, recognizance, or another form based on the court order. A no-bond status or hold requires resolution through the court or responsible agency.
The jail's official inmate-services information says visits use video equipment. On-site and remote sessions last 25 minutes, with on-site hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and remote hours from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Vendor and payment information can change, so confirm all details at 270-236-2405 before sending funds.
Note: A roster entry describes custody at a point in time and does not establish the final charge, disposition, or sentence.
Request Missing Fulton Arrest Records
When a creating agency offers no stable form or portal, make a narrow written request. State the agency, incident date and location, report number if known, record type, and preferred format. Fulton County's OAG-01 route also asks for requester contact information, Kentucky-residency basis, commercial-purpose status, delivery preference, signature, and date. Do not put a Social Security number in an ordinary request.
The official Fulton County Open Records page describes the county's written process and five-business-day response statement.
Hand delivery for Fiscal Court records goes to 2216 Myron Cory Drive, Suite 1, Hickman. Sheriff, jail, city police, and court files should still be directed to the custodian that owns them.
Active investigations, juvenile information, protected victims, medical details, and personal identifiers may be withheld or redacted. If access is denied, keep the original request and response for possible Kentucky Attorney General review under KRS 61.880.
Trace Fulton Custody After Release
A person missing from local custody may have been released, transferred, or sentenced into another system. Ask the detention center for the disclosed next event. Then use KOOL if state custody is plausible. The Bureau of Prisons locator is separate for federal custody. None of those locators replaces the Fulton County court order that explains the legal result.
VINELink supplies custody notifications where participating data are available.
Use notifications as a supplement. Verify the source event with the jail, court, or corrections agency before relying on it.
Fulton County has no verified sheriff or city police mobile app. Avoid similarly named Georgia services, which concern a different county and court system.
Expunge Eligible Fulton County Arrest Records
Kentucky distinguishes automatic clearing for some acquittals and dismissals from petition-based expungement of eligible convictions. The exact offense, disposition, date, and current statute control. When certification is required, begin with the current AOC-496.2 certification request, then file the proper petition and proposed order through the Fulton Circuit Clerk in the court that handled the case. Fulton-specific certification and filing costs were not published on the local clerk page, so call 270-236-3944 before filing.
An order may need time to reach the arresting agency, detention record, court index, and KSP repository. Keep a certified copy. Recheck the AOC report and, when relevant, obtain a KSP personal record review. If one system still displays an eligible cleared entry, send that system the order and identify the exact arrest cycle or case number. Expungement does not promise removal from an independently held historical news account, and it should not be claimed for an ineligible offense.
The Kentucky Court of Justice expungement resource should control for current forms and eligibility guidance. A missing disposition is a different problem: first obtain the signed Fulton County order, then use the correction route for the database showing the incomplete result.
Arrests vs Convictions
An arrest record documents that an agency took a person into custody and recorded allegations. A conviction record reflects a court's judgment of guilt. Between those points, the county attorney may amend or decline a charge, a grand jury may return different counts, or a court may dismiss or acquit. The Fulton County criminal court case file is the right source for the final signed outcome.
| Arrest Record | Conviction Record |
|---|---|
| Created by the arresting agency and jail | Created through the court and reported to state systems |
| Shows custody and allegations | Shows a judgment of guilt and sentence |
| Lives with police, sheriff, or detention center | Lives in the clerk's official file and may reach KSP |
| May lead to release, no filing, dismissal, or a case | May be appealed or later expunged when legally eligible |
Note: An arrest is not proof of guilt, and the final Fulton County order controls over an intake charge or press item.
